Cat & Duck Lap Blanket

Warm your heart: Use this blanket on a lap, or drape it over the back of a couch as a design accent. It measures 28 x 47-48 inches (not a standard size). I only have a few of these and will not be making more; but I do have more of the cat-duck appliques, if you’re interested.

This delicate cat-holding-duck applique is so charming. I’ve stitched it to a soft, snuggly fabric – the fabric is a synthetic, and I bought a few yards of it a long time ago, so I can’t tell you exactly what it’s made of. But the color reminds me of a camel-wool coat I had as a kid. It’s super cozy.

The stitching on the applique is a bit loose, so it’s not ideal for cats to make “biscuits” on, though the rest of the blanket is biscuit-purrfect (Lollipop tested it to make sure).

Care and cleaning: Gentle or hand wash, cold water. Drying: I recommend to air dry flat, though you may dry on low. Ironing: For best results, place a clean cloth on top before ironing on low to medium, so as not to singe the fabric.
